FA-calc was developed by M-Bytes, which was acquired by FacilityApps in october 2025. Work is underway to integrate calculations from FA-calc into work programs within FacilityApps. This creates one platform that supports the complete workflow from calculation to execution. Ben eltink, founder of M-Bytes, is now part of the FacilityApps team and remains responsible for the further development of FA-calc.

Your current data can be easily imported. The software converts room schedules, glass data, sanitary, specialist parts, green maintenance and call-off prices into structured data in the database. All historical data is retained and version control is automatic.

Surveys can be performed manually or via an app. The app records surfaces, room types and floor finishes, after which the data is automatically imported. This creates a quick, error-free calculation or quote within minutes.

Excel is flexible and familiar, but also time-consuming and error-prone. Our calculation software replaces this approach with a central database that is always up-to-date and consistent. Room schedules can be entered manually or via Excel. Each room receives a unique code, with standard codes for common room types such as offices, sanitary or traffic areas. You can freely name and code additional work, and easily make adjustments for multiple rooms at once.

Certainly. The FA-calc roadmap includes: • AI support for automatic room categorization • further optimization of survey and calculation processes • expansion to sectors such as food and homeowner associations • deeper integrations with FacilityApps modules for a fully integrated workflow

Yes. Specialist work such as window cleaning, floor maintenance or waste processing is calculated separately with its own hourly rates. You can, for example, exclude waste processing or distribute it per collection point for accurate time and cost allocation.

With one click you generate: • work programs or work instructions per employee, department or task • reports with hours per week, month or year • overviews per department, cost center or project • quotes (with or without square meters) logos of your company or customer can be added and, if desired, provided with pictograms for visual support.
